Crashed

The moment when I stood up pissed at that gay bastard who freaking opened the car door that I ran into on Swanston St, realizing he was an Asian I could tell he's a Malaysian.

So dumb was he when I asked him what was he gonna do about this, he just looked at my bike, then shifted his view to Swanston St, thought further, then finally replied: I dunno. Dumb cunt, I said you either pay or get it fixed. Which one you after? He replied: "I dunno. Let's wait for my cousin (the driver) to come".

So this Hong Kee cousin of his came, gave me his mobile and licence number. I then took my bike to SHM in QV. They said it'll cost about 200 but they'd give me an exact quote on Monday. But man, that crap isn't worth 200 repairing. So I'll probably get that 200 bucks and add a bit more to get a new one.

I'm fine. Only minorly injured. To imagine the magnitude, think of a beginner's fall from a skateboard.

Surprise?

Superman Returns isn't as gay as it seems. Maybe it's just enjoyable to watch a Superman movie with today's effects as compared to yesterday's Reeve's Superman.

Although already very exhausted, I stayed on in Yeff's place curious to see Shaun's reaction at Jia Min's reception. Well he seemed stoned although he somehow knew she was coming early. Anyway, happy to see them reunite.

Strange

Exams are over and we are in the midst of winter break now. Doesn't that help us sleep soundly?

It sure was peculiar when I woke up at 4AM after a mere 2 hours of sleep and found myself sleepless until 7:30AM. What's troubling me?
- Construction works (e.g. drilling) that started at 6? That's rather late
- Garbo collectors? Got used to it
- Anticipation of next day's workout? Not really
- First time taking salmon oil at night with a new mass shake? No idea
- Change of diet causing spiking metabolism, hence growling stomach? Not a clue

Oh well, whatever, really. After 3 and a half hours lying wide awake I thought it's too late already and I might as well start my day early.

After having the usual breakfast of Weet Bix and milk, plus a shake, I then headed off to gym. Heck it was wonderful to cycle under the sun once again. Melbourne sure is a nicer place in the day than at night (as far as the route I took goes).

With the lack of sleep, high cortisol levels were only aggravated by the glaring sun that pierced through the gymnasium's glass walls.

What next? I don't know but I do feel like doing some month-end shopping :)

Shine It

He does 9 but I do 4, but good things in life don't come after how many Weet Bix's you eat.

I was trying to get my gym card out of my bag when the side pocket zip got screwed. In the midst of working out, while I was giving my bag some sort of routine check, my mobile wasn't present. I thought crap that open side pocket must have been really inviting. I asked my S'porean friend if he had a phone with him, he didn't but his housemate had. Well, I called my number and it was at least a hopeful indicator because it was still ringing.

When I came back I found it sitting on my study table (thank God) and messaged them to tell the good news. I then got invited over for dinner at Dessert House. We then proceeded to Hoyts in Melbourne Central to catch Click and Backpackers' near Victoria Market for the first half of the Ghana v Brazil match. Nothing too special but it was a very delightful night indeed.

Happy belated birthday to Sarah, although I don't really know you that well.

Cahill Does 9

Really is heartbreaking to see the Socceroos defeated with a penalty in the last 8 seconds.

By the way, I just noticed (again, from the back of the box) that Timmy Cahill does 9 Weet Bix's every morning, whereas I only do 4. Hell I still have a long way to go.

Time to go to gym and keep up with my regime now.

(Expectedly) Expensive Groceries

Today onwards I will embark on a 4-week (or more) diet. It is, as expected, a really expensive diet. The bills today came down to about $70 that will last approximately 10 days with an expansive spectrum of poultry, dairy, fish, bread, vege and fruits.

I am a firm believer of you are what you eat, but if it happens that after 4 weeks nothing shows, it must be due to lack of experience in diet and caloric cycling.

Well, we'll see, but let's not hope for magical results for this cycle shall also depend on my training consistency. Furthermore, a partially-recovered wrist may introduce some measure of impediment.

On the other hand, I must say it is already disappointing to know that I have dropped 5kg since I came back.

First friday after exams

I have never had a headache on the night of drinking itself. Maybe I've been drinking too much yeah? But hey, exam's over and I think I've worked my ass off this semester to deserve a little indulgence.

I, Yeff and Thean Aik were supposed to go Platform One but only Aik managed to enter. We walked back to Yeff's place, and later Yeff went to have a drink with friends and I went to Amber Lounge with some other friends. Short but enjoyable stay.

Head needs some rest now.

Premature Endings

It was a night of premature demises.

'A' got pissed drunk as usual and insisted the night should go on. We took a tram to Melbourne Central. There he threw up and turned back to his place by cab.

I proceeded to Yeff and Shaun's place, then to Hungry Jacks and back to his place, playing Liberty City Stories to fill my time till 5.

I was late to Fed Square. The main area was 'full' and the police denied entry, thus I had to go down the road to another screen, bigger but on a muddy area. Since I couldn't join Andrew and Kwek at the main area, home I went after the first half. The Croatian coach sure was hilarious as hell.

At time of writing the match had just ended. Aussies must have had quite a suspense in the last-second Croatian (uncounted) goal. 2-2. Good work Socceroos.

Great game

Socceroos played a great game, but I reckon there were too many going forward in the 2nd half making them a little vulnerable. If Timmy stayed instead of Kewell, who knows what a magic Weet Bix brekky would do? But well, again, it's Brazil.

Just before the start of the match, when we were featured on SBS.

Splash screen

Here's a little splash screen:
http://rigital.eqquhost.com/

Dear friends

Have you ever realized that it's only another 1-2 years before we finish formal education? I wonder how's it gonna be for all of us a decade down the road. Who's gonna get married first? Who's gonna have a child first? Who's in KL, who's abroad? Doesn't matter. Good luck all. =)

Brazil vs Australia

Will probably be watching at Federation Square's big screen. Good luck Cahill, good luck Aussies, good luck Weet Bix.

After exam party

CSS after exam party anyone? $20 free flow. 22nd June @ PA's.

Street Fighter and exams?

From Anannd:
Vega, Balrog, Sagat, and M. Bison, do they ring a bell?
4 bosses in Street Fighter and 4 exams in a semester, are they a mere coincidence?

Oh well, I've only got M. Bison left. I hope I'll be able to use Akuma.

Where are the...

1) comments? Is it the lack/non-existence of grammatical/usage/spelling errors that hinders you guys from tagging my blog? Or emo musings?

2) bananas? The last time I saw them in Safeway they were selling at a whopping $12/kilo. Gone are they until now. Only a handful packets of dried banana chips now occupy that glorious section where the 'nanas used to be.

F---in' yeah!

It's totally unf---ingbelievable that the Aussies scored 3 goals in the last 6 minutes (84', 89', 90') to end the game at 3-1 against Japan!

Now I'm a bloody proud user of Weet Bix coz Tim Cahill (scored first two) endorses it. Breakfast of winners no doubt!

Emo housemate

Congrats to my housemate upon the launch of his public emo pad aka onethousandtears:
http://chrislucaz.blogs.friendster.com/untitledonethousandtears/

Now the blog will tell me when he's being emotional and save Yeff/Shaun/Arnold some trouble. If only we didn't practice a 'dasar tutup pintu' at home it would be much easier.

But above all else, emo housemate, I really respect the way you handle things. Unlike me, stress = lashing (well I've cut down tho').

Friday night at home

Isn't it ironic that Benemo looks forward to going home on a Friday night? Maybe. But guys, I'm not a freak. I just happen to admire someone I don't know and coming back to my cosy room just gives me that damn ambience I need to indulge in my thoughts =)

Relax Arnold, your project was good. Maybe it was just too artistic we didn't grasp the Scottish's message.

Apples

What do you do when you are feeling lazy to cut apples into chunks to go into the blender? Bite and toss 'em into it.

Ben #2

And so my family of friends here in Melbourne have found Ben #2 when he visited Melbourne a few days ago.

It seems that it didn't really matter who the Business Finance lecturers were. After talking personally to my tutor who also happens to be a Malaysian, I realized I was gonna like the subject. And it manifested itself: I was able to walk out of the exam hall early, after 3 and a half years not being able to do so. Well, thanks Adrienne.
